How CaseSwitch Works

Free browser-based text tools with local processing, instant results, and no account required.

CaseSwitch is built for speed and privacy. Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your text stays on your device while you convert, clean, format, or generate content.

  1. Step 1

Choose a tool or use the homepage converter

Start on the homepage when you need a quick case change between sentence, title, upper, lower, camelCase, and more. Open a dedicated tool page when you need extra options — custom title-case word lists, find-and-replace, image conversion, JSON formatting, or password generation. Use the search bar in the header if you know the tool name.

  2. Step 2

    Paste or type your content

Enter text in the input panel, or drag and drop a file for image and document tools. The homepage converter autosaves your draft to browser storage so you can close the tab and return later on the same device. Nothing is synced to the cloud.

  3. Step 3

    Adjust options when needed

Many tools expose toggles and fields: small-word exceptions for title case, characters to strip, JPEG quality for image conversion, password length and charset, regex patterns, and more. Defaults work for quick one-off tasks — explore options when you need precise control.

  4. Step 4

Get instant results in your browser

Output updates in real time as you type. Most tools run entirely client-side — your content is not sent to a server. Image and document tools use browser APIs (Canvas, FileReader) to process files locally on your device.

  5. Step 5

    Copy, download, or share

Use the action buttons to copy output to your clipboard, download a converted file, share via your device's share sheet, or clear the editor and start fresh. Undo and redo are available on text tools when you need to step back.

Homepage vs dedicated tools

The homepage converter is fastest for everyday case changes — paste once and switch between sentence, title, upper, lower, and camelCase. Open a dedicated tool page when you need options (custom small-word lists, find-and-replace rules, image upload, or JSON formatting). Each tool page includes worked examples and a short guide so you know what to expect before you paste.

Privacy first

Unlike server-based converters, CaseSwitch avoids uploading your drafts whenever possible. The homepage converter also saves your text locally so you can return on the same device without losing work.
